Description

The works were divided into three parts, described below:

1. - ADI PROJECT 1000- NEW UNITS TO REDUCE THE PRODUCTION OF DIESEL FUEL / TEMPORARY INSTALLATIONS CONSTRUCTION WORK
The works executed in the temporary installations contract are included in the general preparation of two areas that were not used up to that moment, with the aim of turning them into areas with all the services needed for convenient establishment of all the companies that are to form part of the new works for installing the new Coke Plant. The works were carried out in clearly differentiated areas, Area 10 (area where currently all contractors carrying out works in the different Petronor units to supply the Coke Plant have their offices) and Area 18 (where all the offices of contractors that are executing the Coke Plant itself have their offices) in which they have simultaneously gone through the same work phases, which were the as follows:
-Demolition of existing structures and flooring, with the aim of preparing the area for the planned work.
-Excavation and earth movement.
-Implementation of buried services.
-Execution of office, dining room and dressing room foundations.
-Flooring and preparing the new vehicle park and access point to the refinery.

2. - ADI PROJECT 1000- NEW UNITS TO REDUCE THE PRODUCTION OF DIESEL FUEL / OFF SITE AND REVAMPING CONSTRUCTION WORK
The work in this block has consisted, basically, in the demolition of foundations of existing equipment and execution of new foundations, not just to rehouse this equipment, but also foundations for new equipment. This is all in order to reorganise the units in the most efficient manner to thus house some new equipment necessary in order to optimise the performance of the refinery.
Going into greater detail, we can mention the following areas:
-HD3 (HYDROSULPHURIZATION Unit): Reactor R2, Compressor C2-C and New Pumps HD3-P3-A/B.
    
As a result of the implementation of this new equipment, a series of buried systems have been implemented such as 30 KV electric channels, Butsens to house new instrumentation cables for equipment and new drainage networks for new equipment, as well as modification of the existing networks to accommodate them to the new.
-S3 (Amine treatment unit, including: SATELLITE ELECTRIC SUBSTATION).
-H4 (Hydrogen unit).
-30 KV electric trench: 2,000 ml. From cogeneration to the Coke Plant.

3. - ADI PROJECT 1000- NEW UNITS TO REDUCE THE PRODUCTION OF DIESEL FUEL / NORTH OFF SITE AND REVAMPING CONSTRUCTION WORK
This work focuses on revamping the VB3 units (vacuum unit), F3 and U3 unit with great sulphur production, therefore a large part of the work is similar to that of the south contract, as it deals with a large number of demolitions of foundations for old equipment, as well as execution of new work for new and renewed equipment as well as foundations spanning from a small support to a complicated structure in the vacuum unit or a very large number of foundations to support a new and powerful PIPE RACK. Going into each unit in more detail, we can find:
-Utilities Unit or U3 (Unit for treating acids with a large sulphur production).
-Unit VB 3 (Vacuum unit): Concrete structure from the tower of the vacuum unit viscosity reducer (TOWER OF THE VB3 VACUUM FLASHER).
-Connecting rack: A dense group of foundations that cover a lineal trajectory of almost 2.5 Km. Supporting a complex metal structure that in turn supports a network of pipes with diameters up to 40”, crossing the entire refinery from west to east.
