September 2014 - January 2015
Ruta Calama, (Chile)

The contract scope included the execution of all foundations for the installation of substation structures, equipment and switchgear, which will collect, transform and distribute electrical power generated by the new photovoltaic farm.
The civil works included the following entries:

- Equipment foundations
- Structure foundations (busbar and line frames etc)
- Switchgear foundations
- Electrical conduit executed onsite
- Substation control building construction
- Substation urban development
- Substation perimeter enclosure installation

- Most significant works data:
- One of the most significant conditioning factors of the project was the need to execute 100% of the jobs within an extremely short period of time and having to work in parallel with the companies responsible for metal and equipment installation.
- The jobs were executed in the middle of the Atacama Desert, a location with difficult access, which also caused huge storage problems for materials and supplies of all types.
- The works were completed within the parameters initially set out by our client, with early achievement of most of the project landmarks and facilitating the work of the other participating companies.
